TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF

I've always been fascinated by the details. When you really analyze something, you start to see how everything is connected.

I began my career as a Journalist with a similar mindset—I wanted

to connect the dots in ways that would impact real people, on the ground.

As a reporter, I covered news for local dailies and events happening in the burgeoning Arts scene of the South Bronx. Later, I worked in Communication roles for various start-ups and organizations, supporting causes like access to healthcare, alternative education and sustainability.

Alongside this, I spent a veritable decade tending to my "second life" in the Food & Beverage industry. Here, I honed my knowledge of cooking, hospitality, and my commitment to community and culture-sharing through our collective food experiences.

This has made me a lifelong advocate for bettering our agricultural systems, as well as pushing for food justice on all conceivable fronts. It has also materialized into a side business where it's not just about what you put in your body, but what you put on it.

These days, you'll find me crafting unconventional marketing campaigns for socially-conscious brands to help them rise above the noise.

Over the past decade, I've adapted my writing to suit every medium as well as every voice and style.

My time spent working in Research and Program Management roles has illuminated how critical it is to produce work that's grounded in measurable insights and guided by strategic planning.

Writing hasn't always been easy for me, necessarily. But it has always been necessary.

Words are just a portal to building a deeper understanding of our differences. They ensure we come at issues from a preventative standpoint instead of a reactionary one, and they make us more resilient human beings, able to handle the challenges we're always sure to face.

Words are the glue that holds together our promise for lasting change.
